"My wife and I spent 5 nights at JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa in April, 2024. The room and beach were great. The facility itself is enormous, far more so than I had realized when I booked our stay. It's a Marriott, so expect meals to be priced double (or triple) what you might pay at nearby (and far less fancy) restaurants; indeed, meals were priced a good bit higher than what we had paid at similar or nicer hotels in Seam Reap, Bangkok and Hanoi. Perhaps the absence of high end...

"Beautiful property. Great water park for children and adults. Restaurants were good. Music in the splash kitchen needs to changed. They only played one Christmas CD for 8 days and nights. The music at the beach bar was very inappropriate and offensive to women and Children. There are no Air conditioned areas outside of your room or the splash kitchen. Very hot hotel lobby. Trolley transportation on the grounds is excellent. "

There’s a very small mini mart 2 mins up the road but otherwise not a lot within walking distance. "For us the Villa with own pool is the best option to go for. Last time we stayed we had breakfast and diner included whereas this time we went for all meals plus two cocktails each day and a treatment each in the Spa. Having all meals was a mistake as we found that we couldn’t eat everything but for those with a large appetite it would be worthwhile. We would like to mention the lady who made up our Villa every day. Her name was Amm and she was a treasure being super efficient. "
