"I will say that arriving to the location was challenging with a car. The receptionist was too fast with directions to get our rental safely parked (nearby grocery store overnight). I realize she's been at the job awhile so it may seem quite simple for her. We did appreciate the apartment but the entry door, 3 flights up, is literally at the commune kitchen. Busy area with guests! The view on top terrace was the best asset."

"I stayed for 3.5 weeks and everything was very good. The staff are friendly and will help you with anything you need. The room was nice and the location is excellent. I recommend using earplugs in the night since the walls are thin and also for preventing outside noise to wake you up."

"No a/c. Literally dribbles of water comes out for shower. No place to put luggage except on floor. No help like towels or toilette paper in building; must go outside and down street to get them. No elevator for bringing suitcases up and down on hot day. "

"The property was extremely clean, has a great view and every detail has been thought, i.e. they even had beach towels for us to use. The swimming pool is very big. "I stayed for one night at the Hospedaria do Bonfim earlier this week. I had booked 3 nights but it was so bad I checked out after the first night. As the room had no heating both the bedroom and the bathroom where freezing cold. The bathroom was clearly a converted balcony and the windows had been left wide open (in February), no doubt to try and get rid of the damp smell. The bathroom had hot water but neither the bath or the sink had a plug. There was also no shower bracket or shower curtain...
