"Room was clean and compact we had a triple room. Tea and coffee in the room and a tv. Toilet was very low and in a tiny room of its own wobbly seat. Shower cubicle was stand alone in the room so you had to step out and dry in front of family but good shower and soap provided. Sink in bedroom too. Air conditioning. "Great location, really lovely staff and alright breakfast and swimming facilities (pool and hot tub), but the price is reflective of quality. Particularly the showers (both in the room and in the pool changing areas), and the bathroom in the room does show signs of age. This didn't ruin the trip though, and the location more than makes up for it!"

"We regularly eat at The Bear, as we love the food, but this was our first time to stay. The room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. As always, the service in the restaurant was excellent and the food was delicious. Our waiter, Hi-Man was most attentive. "

"We booked a nights stay as we have recently booked our wedding at this hotel, we couldn't of asked for a better place to get married, rooms were excellent, spa was busy but it was valentine's weekend and the food was superb.
