"Great location a few blocks from Rossio, Santa Justus lift, the Commerce Plaza, the river etc. NOT a very hilly part of town and while hotel is on a street so easy to get to, the entrance is on a pedestrian zone so safe to walk into. Room comfortable but small by American standards- get used to it. Shower plenty big. Old building so i see that folks complained about the floor boards creaking. Again, get used to it. Breakfast had eggs made to order which was unusual and very welcome. ...

"Our welcome at reception was excellent. Our room was very clean and overlooking the pool. We arrived late but could still order food at the Rubi bar. There was a singer that made the evening more enjoyable even though we were tired from travelling. Beautiful grounds, the gardens are very well kept with some amazing flowers. We used all the facilities and felt very safe and comfortable. The indoor swimming pool came in very handy for the children as the outside pools were cold during February...

"The property was in a great location, walkable to all the local tourist spots, but set a little bit away from the hustle and bustle perfect escape from the noise at night. The breakfast offered both hot and cold foods with a good selection of both. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, especially Peter. I highly recommend this hotel."

"Pine Cliffs was incredible. The resort is stunning. We got engaged there, which was the highlight of our trip. The resort is close to nearby towns, hiking trails and attractions in Algarve. Everything is a short taxi away or they have a rental car service on the property. It was very convenient for our trip to Lagos. An ideal location in between everything with its own private beach.
