"One of the messages from the property didn't come through, the one that gave decent directions. Several places en route looked like they were the property. It took a while, but we eventually found it. Apparently there's a kitchen on site, but we only found one in the hostel across the street? Had a hard time finding the switch to turn on the hot water, I tried messaging the property, but it was late and I never got a response. The switch was pretty big by the showers, I probably missed it since...

"I think it was perfect for us. We were on a sabbatical and it was so quiet. The view from the outside balcony was enjoyable in the evening. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a bathtub which was the perfect ending to a fun packed day of hiking. Thank you so much for your hospitality. I would definitely recommend this place. "

"A wonderful property right on the water. We stayed in one of their new private cabins which are absolutely stellar with floor-to-ceiling windows with a view of the harbor and a private patio with sitting area. The room has another sitting area with a mini-fridge. Luxurious robes, towels, and bedding complete the feeling of being totally pampered. We wished we could have stayed longer. "

"Excellent stay at The Loch Ness Inn. We were staying at 8 different locations during our tour of Scotland and this inn stood out as by far the best for accommodation and food. It was welcome to see that all the small details were looked after, enabling the room to be very well presented. All three courses of the evening meal were delicious and who knew porridge could taste that good for breakfast! "

"Beautiful and stately facility. The staff were accommodating and our room was spacious and comfortable. Our only complaint was the desk had no chair, and the one that was brought up didn't fit. But otherwise we enjoyed our stay. The included breakfast had lots of options and was served in a lovely room with pretty views."

"The Cnoc Hotel is een rustig gelegen charmant sfeervol ingericht klein hotel. We zijn zeer gastvrij ontvangen door de vriendelijke eigenaar Duncin. Onze kamer was traditioneel ingericht met prima bedden. De kleine badkamer was voorzien van een douche en toilet. De wifi deed het goed. Op de kamer ontbrak alleen een TV, maar die hebben wij niet gemist. Het ontbijt is goed en wordt naar wens bereid. We hebben twee keer avond gegeten. "If only the owners would listen to the customer feedback from previous guests! All the same niggling issues stop this from getting g a 5 star rating. Dirty pots and pans, a central heating system that needed to be rebooted constantly, poor level of cleaning generally, all have been commented on by previous guests!"
