Wifi is not available in "glamping" pods! Water in pod sink didn't work. (I even tried to turn the valves under the sink.) Strange outlets in pod couldn't accommodate my charger adapter. Trash piled up and spilling out of dumpster near road. Pod was, however, clean and warm.

Was very nice after reading horrible reviews we were a bit worried .. we were surprised to be in a room in the hostel rather than a pod .. room was very clean and had own toilet/shower was very spacious.. the little pods looked really nice with there own gardens and fire pits looking on to a river… area was nice .. only thing kitchen was taken over by large party that was there and we could not use it .would defo go back .

Stay near Loch Ness

Easy parking, clean and tidy room only let down was squeaky bed when someone moved, toilet and shower block clean and plenty of hot water, shared kitchen clean with plates cups etc. for a inexpensive place to stay was very impressed. If travelling in area again would definitely use, many thanks.

Better facilities than many campsites

Over all we enjoyed our stay. We particularly liked that the 17 bus from Inverness would stop outside at request leaving and going to the hostel. The kitchen was suitable for our needs and the showers were hot and quite clean. We stayed for 1 week at the site. The first few days in Hagrid's hut. We thought the hut could be improved regarding the mattress and bedding. The Hobbit hut was exactly what we should have booked in the first place. Nature walks near by, and a good remote location to escape from the city. Come prepared with mosquito repellent.

Nous avons payé mais pas de chambre

Nous n'avons pas eu accès à la chambre qui était déjà occupée. Nous avons dû chercher un hotel à 30 km de là. Nous n'avons eu aucune réponse à nos mels ni au téléphone pour que le loueur s'explique et nous dépanne, il était aux abonnés absents. Nous voulons être remboursés.

De omschrijving komt niet overeen met de werkelijkheid. Ik had een pod besteld met twee éénpersoonsbedden, maar kreeg uiteindelijk een pod met een tweepersoonsbed. In de advertentie stond dat we eigen slaapgoed moesten meenemen, maar het bed was gewoon opgemaakt met, zo lijkt het, schoon beddengoed, dus dat viel dan weer mee. Het pod-"park" zelf ligt recht tegenover een hostel van, wat ik begrijp, dezelfde eigenaar. Daar waar de hostel er net en onderhouden uitziet (ik ben echter daar niet binnen geweest), is het park waar de pods staan een kakofonie van verschillende soorten en modellen units die waarschijnlijk ooit ergens zijn afgedankt en hier zijn neergezet. Het geheel bij elkaar geeft een rommelige indruk en om dat kracht bij te zetten lag er ook nog genoeg rommel op het park, van een afgedankte auto via een vuilcontainer die al in geen maanden geleegd is tot een huisje dat onder "Renovatie" was (zo leek het). De staat van het (unisex) toiletgebouw viel, vergeleken met de rest, juist weer heel erg mee; totaal niet glamping, maar ik heb veel erger gezien. De toiletten waren schoon en de douches werkten prima, al hadden twee van de drie douches enkele mankementen (douchegordijn bij de een stuk, de ander met een kapotte douchestang). Alles bij elkaar zou het misschien een kleine week kosten om het geheel veel beter te laten zijn, maar blijkbaar is dit niet iets waar de eigenaar energie in wil stoppen; een gemiste kans, want de lokatie zelf is prachtig en heeft veel potentie

Overall - served the purpose. They seriously need to post quiet hours like 10pm-6am 11-7 if you want a decent and needed sleep after long driving or hiking. It’s a small area and cabins close together - Drunk loud guys came in at 6:40pm and were outside until after midnight . we were all up until they decided they were done and started again at 6am. Great spot by the river but you can’t hear or enjoy the river or nature if there is no respect for a shared outside space. Posting signs on the cabin doors for quiet night hiurs - even 6 hours to sleep a bit would go a long way. It’s a crap shoot otherwise if you get to rest before your next day.

Suggestion to check bins more regularly!

Ideal short stop. On contacting owners direct, received rude reply. The kitchen and toilet bins were not emptied for 3 days. Owners reply was that she couldn’t check every time someone put rubbish in them. Well, if you are busy that is when bins fill up the most! Very slippery entering shower block and suggested non-slip mat. I had to go to hospital because of a nasty fall due to slippery conditions. Just be warned!

This was the worse place we could have picked to stay! The cabin was full of mold, and the bed broke when one of my adult kids went to lay down. We tried to talk to the maintenance man when he was there, and he just laughed in our faces. We've emailed, and the only response was to say, "we hope you had a good time". We stayed 1 of the 2 nights we paid for, and that was on the floor. Nothing about any refund or anything. STAY AWAY!

Unless you've a car or get a bus (which i suspect are few and far between) you'd struggle to get there unless you were walking. The pod itself was okay but could do with a lick of pain and tidying up a bit, as could the toilet block. There was no signage and further out than we thought. We'd a lovely view of the river and the kids liked it, however as a parent staying with 2 kids it was unnerving that there was no staff presence or security measures, It was fine for something different for the kids and a one night stay, maybe more suited for backpackers or someone needing somewhere small for a stop over for a night

Avoid unless desperate

Booked for my wife and 2 dogs. No one there to check in with. Had to ask neighbour. After 5-10 minutes woman came out chewing food so close to my ear my wife stepped away. She did apologise for eating. I booked a wigwam/chalet - my wife was put into a hostel room. Dirty floors, shower scum so thick she couldn’t close the door. Toilet brush welded to the floor, with rust. Broken chair on old walkway, old cigarette tabs in a wet pot outsude the door.

The location is good, by the river, although it’s next to a 60mph road so cars rushing by are heard throughout the night. On the booking page there were pictures of a fairly new, cute round wooden ‘pod’, which would suit the name Glamping pods as advertised. The pods were actually present on the premises and looked really charming. We were very disappointed to find that our ‘Glamping pod’ was in fact a garden shed with double doors, which stood at an angle, had a weird combination of old beds and a part of a sofa and some parts of a cupboard. Nothing near the pictures. Furthermore the damp smell could be coming from weather conditions, but there were 2 blankets (there are 5 beds, so?) and one cushion that didn’t looked good (used to be white) which might have added extra smell to the atmosphere. At least we were dry for the night although the sound of drops of water falling to the floor was heard throughout the night, a source of a leakage wasn’t found. Toilets and showers were fine, which was much appreciated.
