"Great clean quaint lodge. Beautiful outlook in very quiet area. Special touch of fruit and goodies for breakfast and a huge bottle of water daily as water is not potable in the Volcano region. Office located at a nearby store which directions are clearly noted when booking the accommodation. Would definitely stay again. "

"I don't usually write a lot of reviews, but I specifically came back to this booking that we had in April of 2022 because I've thought about it so much since that stay. "The staff was amazing. Within minutes of check in, we had our dining mapped out for our four-day stay. The breakfasts delivered to our cottage (discreetly) were very good! We didn’t get to take advantage of their pack lunches for hikes, but will next time. Loved it!"

"Beautiful location in a very quiet neighborhood. We stayed a week at Volcano Hale. Bought our own groceries near the airport since we read there were no stores near the house. Drove over 2 hours from Kona and less than an hour from Hilo when we did day trips. The house is only close to Volcano National Park. "A nice place, but limited check in times. Property a bit remote. . Room a bit damp,,, so had to use dehumidifier (which wasn’t on the hotel description!!!!!). Not high on the list to return to. "

"Every detail has been thought of! The room was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and had everything you could need!! You really feel like you have your own private jungle bungalow. Slept like a rock in the comfy bed and the rain on the roof! Eric and Chris were SO great, wish we had more time to chat with them. next time :) It's super close to the park. Will be sending many people their way. Stop looking around and book this place!!"

"Hands-down the best place we stayed during our 2.5 week trip to Hawaii! Barry and Jim were wonderful hosts, we were greeted by Barry as soon as we arrived! He helped get us settled in and showed us around the cabin. The cabin comes stocked with breakfast items, coffee, and fresh fruits! It is located close to Volcanos National Park, so it was perfect for my husband and I since we love hiking! The cabin was spotless and the bed was very comfortable!
