"East village hotel is a gem if you are looking to stay in the area in a “budget.” Easy keyless access. Note that there is no staff on site except for daily housekeeping. Rooms were clean and having a kitchen, although we were too busy to use it was a nice touch. Be prepared to hike up stairs with luggage as there is no elevator. "Did not feel safe outside/parking. Drug induced people all around/ ladies of the night. I was scared my car would be stolen or broken into each night. The property had all these keys for you to use but they didn’t keep the doors locked. Anyone on the street could have entered the house at any given time. There were people hanging around on the street next to the cars doing drugs 24/7. I definitely wouldn’t stay there again. The water in the sink gets really hot but the shower water was cold."
