No USB ports, no kettle, warm fridge, safe that didn't open, bedside wall light front plate fell off, no instructions on how to operate anything, no information about breakfast/dinner menus, bed sheets do not fit the bed. "A great home base for a cycling trip. The rooms were very clean and modern and all the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. There was a convenient and secure bike storage room in the garage with local bike services nearby. The many routes as detailed by the Centrum RVV all originate at the doorstep of the hotel. It was a very warm week in Belgium, so it was wonderful to relax with a drink on their backyard patio where there was both ample shade and a nice breeze. Would definitely...

"Hotel Steenhuyse was a very nice place for me to stay on my cycling trip to Flanders. Bart was a great host. He even sat and had a nice chat with me at breakfast. My room was very large, clean, and well-decorated. Breakfast was a buffet with a variety of meats, breads, pastries, and cereals. As a cycling fan from the U.S., I couldn't recommend a hotel more than this one. It is a few steps away from the Tour of Flanders museum, and a short ride from the famous climbs of the Ronde. Service de location de vélos pratique pour se rendre dans le centre ville de Gand en 20 mn avec des pistes cyclables le long de cours d'eau : très agréable. We stayed in a junior suite which is spacious and comfortable with exposed beams on the top floor. Unfortunately no view because the windows look out on the roofs on the buildings on the opposite side of the street."

"Schone kamer, schone badkamer en wc. Minpunt vonden wij alleen dat het gedeelde badkamer en wc waren, vond dat persoonlijk niet duidelijk aangegeven staan dat zou nog een verbeter puntje zijn. Verder is de b&b erg mooi karakteristiek. Wel zou ik persoonlijk een renovatie aanraden. De wc en buitenkant van de b&b mogen wat liefde hebben. De gastvrouw is een vriendelijke vrouw, en zorgt ervoor dat je een fijn verblijf hebt."
