Everything about the hotel & the fantastic staff that work there was exceptional. We had 11 days at the Mont Cervin Palace for our honeymoon and the staff could not do enough for us. The property was nice. I was very disappointed in my check in. I reserved and paid for 3 rooms. I was traveling with a group of 6 ladies. I had to check us all in as I had reserved and paid for the rooms. The other rooms were available on arrive and on the 5th floor with a lovely view of the mountains. My room wasn't available for a couple of hours and I was put in a room on the second floor overlooking the roof of the property. I was never asked if I wanted one of the nicer rooms. I'm glad my traveling friends got a super nice room but was very disappointed in my room. Bathroom was half the size of the others as well. I asked to be moved to the same floor the others were on but was told it would be an additional $1000 swiss francs. They knew we were traveling together. I thought this could have been handled better. The receptionist was a very sweet person and the manager, who I asked to speak with was also professional and nice. I was just disappointed they didn't make accomodations for my request.
