My recent stay at the Holiday Hotel in Zermatt was nothing short of magical. What truly sets the Holiday Hotel apart is the staff. They are incredibly friendly and welcoming, Their flexibility was particularly impressive; when we encountered flight issues, the hotel made it incredibly easy for us to change our stay dates via email, responding promptly and resolving the situation with zero stress. The team even took the time to advise us on our finances, thoughtfully reminding us to pay in the local currency (CHF) rather than Canadian Dollars (CAD) on our credit cards to ensure we received the best possible exchange rate. Another standout moment was our final day; we had an early departure before the regular breakfast hours. Without us even asking, the front desk arranged with the kitchen to prepare on-the-go breakfast and lunch packs for our journey. It is these small, proactive gestures that turn a good stay into an unforgettable one.

Awesome stay!

Hotel was awesome! Staff was great! Room was perfect and the breakfast was outstanding! We would stay there again. Beware that the walk to the hotel is steep. Hotel is high up so this could be a challenge to some although we loved it.

Hotel does the job for one night. The shower is strange, you do not receive any amenities and the bed was not very comfortable. The breakfast was good. Our room was right in front of a construction site and was quite loud during the day. They do not provide free transport from the train station as it requires an additional charge. A short but uphill walk from train station they have transport but it’s 5 Swiss francs a person but a doable walk with a carry on bag Breakfast was sumptious , quiet area but no t close to any restaurants but Zermatt is a small but beautiful town so everything is in walking distance
