This is one of the cutest places in Napa valley. It’s literally 10 steps from where the hot air balloons launch, has the Model Bakery on sight, and surrounded by wineries. The rooms are spacious and have a ton of amenities.

Very well placed quaint hotel in the heart of Yountville. The train car rooms are authentic and cosy. We saw hot air balloons being filled and flown away early in the morning from the carpark near the hotel!

Night in a caboose

Its a don't check-in in person. You receive a text when the unique experience. We stayed in the caboose. It big enough, quiet, and nicely furnished. The bed was very comfortable with nice linens. Everything was very clean. Also, the location is great! Note: you do not check-in in person. You receive a text when your railcar is ready, with a code to open the door and a phone # if you need assistance. As we had no problems, we found this to be very easy.

Great unique rooms

Great location. Cozy room with enough space for us and our portable crib. Unique idea of the rail cars as room. Would definitely stay here again. Walking distance to great restaurants. If you are a light sleeper you might hear the hot air balloons being filled and lifted at around 530-6 am. Very cool to look at though!
