"A wonderful, clean,air condtioned room and staff can be contacted 24/7 if any problems. Bed was very comfortable and being left a small bottle of milk in the fridge was a nice touch. Parking was no problem at all in front of buillding. Did have any food but all looked lovely. Would definately recommend."

"Lovely apartment in a historic building, ideally located just outside the city centre, but within easy walking distance of all places of interest in York. Nice touch of leaving a bottle of bubbly in the fridge - a good sign that the hosts are attentive. The apartment itself is well furnished and equipped, and really does feel like a home from home. Overall, thoroughly recommended."

"Clean, comfortable room in a location giving easy access to the centre of York. Not really for 4 grown up people though. More like 3. Perhaps 2 adults and 2 children would've been OK. The second bed was small. "

"The staff, particularly Caroline and Kristina, were extremely welcoming. Great location within easy walking distance to the train station and close to sites in the center of old town. One of the best of the nine places that we stayed during our trip to the UK."

"The Dean Court is a charming boutique hotel that was completed in 1865 as Clergy residences for York Minster which the hotel is in the shadow of. Because you are staying in a heritage building there can be some charming challenges such as creaky floors and low clearance doorways. Despite that the positives far outweigh any challenges you may encounter. Everything is walkable from the Dean Court and there are several great pubs feet from your front door many of which offer a Sunday Roast menu....

"The hotel has a modern/hip vibe, starting with the lobby which is centered around the bar that also serves as the check-in desk. This is where breakfast is served. The room was modern, well maintained and functional, but a little tight on space for 2-people with large suitcases. There is no closet or draws (a few coat-hooks) and so plan to live out of your suitcases. It is well located a short distance from the Shambles, Minster and other attractions. "Last minute booking as decided to stay overnight in York. Communication for check in was quick, property was easy to find, close to town and super clean and tidy. Had a relaxing stay and would definitely consider again next time we were in York. Small supermarket and Mrs Greedy’s at end of road was excellent for supplies and a quick cooked breakfast. "

"You will not find a more friendly hotel than this! Even before we arrived we got the sense of how great this would be as I phoned ahead to check parking and was met with openess and a friendly member of the team. Upon arrival, this warm welcome continued and I felt like we were the only people there, so attentive! Breakfast was amazing, freshly cooked and great choice, we didn't really need lunch! Overall just a great place - bedroom was fantastic and loads of room for us and our teenager....

"Very clean room, well organized and separated of toilet & batheoom and wash sink so we dont have to wait when one use it. Good security. Nice staff. Good atmoshhere and environment. Location is closed to the river. Perfect to stay here. We love it and will come back fore sure."
