"Room was excellent and location perfect for Cheltenham races. Food (breakfast and dinner) and service great. Accommodation very expensive though and pub was very busy that meant our table for dinner was moved in to bar area and two main courses not available. "Had a fab stay - staff friendly at check in and the room was excellent. We stayed in 21 which had a four poster bed and plenty of space - it was wonderfully traditional and added to the stay perfectly. There is plenty of parking at the hotel and breakfast was good value with lots of choice. We stayed for the racing and it was an ideal location - would definitely recommend and stay again."

"Love the Portland Guest House, fantastic location for wide choice of restaurants in the town. The place is always spotless and the staff are so friendly. Entry is now via key box system and breakfast has moved over to Continental only. This still offers a good choice of food and drinks. Defo recommend the place."

"This is a impressive property that was hosted to us very well. Both the exterior and interior were a beautiful sight, especially with the Christmas tree in the hall. It felt very special staying here and it was a comfortable night stay. The property was kept to a nice temperature and the fireplace was easy to manage.
