"Very nice and comfortable and quiet.. Enjoyed the coffee machine in the lobby and the outside sitting area. The rooms are a little on the smaller side but no issue for a single. Be aware of the stairs for most rooms. They will help you with your luggage on the stairs. My room was straightened each day without needing to ask."

"The room had all the amenities of a regular hotel. It was clean, well- lit & comfortably furnished. Toiletries, coffee & tea, plus bottled water were complimentary. More than adequate storage space for a single traveller. Excellent transport connections within a five minutes walk. I have stayed in a number of university properties and this one still tops the list for facilities, location and value for money."

"This place has AC!!! Very quiet street but right around the corner from the tube station, still close to Hyde park and did I mention AC? rooms are incredibly modern and clean, just wish the washroom sink was not clogged upon arrival which should be noted. But the rest of the washroom/bedroom was very well maintained, breakfast was simple and dining room doesn't have loads of room but everything was pleasant. I didn't like the way they ask for your room number at breakfast though, there should be another way to know who paid for breakfast and didn't. The front desk was super responsive and always around to answer questions about the city. 8.8/10"

"I was in the hotel for three days and had a lovely time. The staff made me feel like a family member rather than a customer. The manager (the one who was there in the evening) was brilliant. We had a great chat and he was very nice. He had me move to another room because of an issue with the light staying on in the wardrobe and the peace and quiet was fabulous. No disturbances and no problems and if I return to Chelsea I would not hesitate to stay there again. I was very sorry to leave but unfortunately, holidays don’t last forever. Thank you to all the staff who went above and beyond to make my stay memorable"

"The hotel is beautifully maintained and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The only downside was that I asked to arrange a cab which they called for me with the cab company quoting a fixed price of £25 which I thought at the time was expensive but assumed this to be the going rate even though it was only about a 10min journey,. However on the return journey a black cab charged me £14 for the same journey - I queried this with the staff member who called the cab but was informed this was because it was a fixed price journey. The fixed price was quoted at £25 for cash or £26 for credit card and I pointed out that under UK consumer law its no longer legal to have a higher price for a credit card transaction. The hotel staff member appeared not to be aware of this, no apparently did the cab company. My advice is only get the hotel to book a black cab."
