"Lovely hotel with beautiful grounds and great facilities. Only stayed for one night but enjoyed a quick swim in the pool and had a lovely evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant. Bedroom was a good size with comfy bed and everything needed for an overnight stay. The only thing that I think could be improved is the check in. "Beautiful old main building and well constructed new wing that blended seamlessly with the old main Hall. However, due to the layout and lack of lifts it meant a really long walk from our room to the main reception area. The Hotel seemed to have a lack of staff - the very nice mature lady at reception, was multitasking and ended up carrying our bags up to the room. "This is the third time I've stayed here and honestly every time it gets worse. The hotel is beautiful and the location convinient. But thats all.... I came down for breakfast at 9am (breakfast is surved until 10am) and there was barely anything left, no joices, no milk couple of slices of bread,no tea bags. And there was a table reserved for 20 people so they knew that they had a lot of people coming for breakfast still. I was sat down for 30 minutes at no point did they bring anything new...
