The reception area was very nice. The bar/restaurant was a pleasant atmosphere. It was all clean & tidy everywhere. The staff were friendly & helpful. The breakfast buffet had a good selection. There was oat milk available but, there wasn't any plant based items available.

Was there for one night . Good location . No porters so you have to do your luggage yourself Breakfast was disappointing . Wasn’t a wide spread . Hardly any pastries . A warm welcome when we arrived although maybe a few more pieces of general information about the hotel would have been useful. The room was a nice large room with all the expected amenities. A nice touch with a chocolate by the bed but as it was booked as a double, not sure why there was only one? The bed was exceedingly comfortable. I had a knee replacement a few weeks ago and I can honestly say that I had the best nights sleep since I had the operation. The staff in the bar and restaurant were all very friendly and helpful. We decided to have dinner in the restaurant and the food was delicious. Unfortunately we were too slow at eating dinner and the desserts we wanted were all gone. Breakfast in the morning was good with plenty of choice and the option to order other hot choices if you wanted. We would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at this hotel before and it’s a clean and the staff are great and friendly. I do tend to chat with staff about anything and everything and they kindly listen to me wittering along without a vacant stare on their faces. It’s nice to have a car park in the grounds, although it’s charged for but the convenience is priceless. We will be staying again in September, Edgebaston Cricket ground is a walkable distance away and that’s our reason for our stay.

We had an overnight stay. The room was quite spacious and clean. The bathroom was also clean. Overall, the room looks tired and could do with an update compared to other hotels in the city. The staff were polite and friendly. We had requested hypo allergenic bedding due to allergies and these were provided. Breakfast was good and buffet style, withplenty of choice of continental and cooked. There is parking which you pay onsite upon arrival.
