"My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. The welcome pack was much appreciated and Chris could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. I loved the upside down style and it did not affect the views. "The breakfast was good enough depending on your choice, the evening meal In the restaurant wasn't what we expected and several people sent it back, the menu doesn't change from night to night, and the thing I noticed in the hotel trophy was a good food trophy from 2001, other wise were happy with our stay"

"A lot of noise made sleep tricky - the mini bar fridge was super loud, the announcements from the station next door, and TVs from other rooms. No climate control so keeping the room at a comfortable temperature was tricky. Staff on the check-in desk were checked out, not particularly welcoming. However, bed was really comfortable, it's nice to have a bath and there is a lot to do near by. I didn't have breakfast, so no idea if it's good."
