Recommended. Don’t be deterred by the unusually bland elevator entrance. Fresh look and updated rooms. It appears a bit empty and perhaps managing expenses but everything is there except a restaurant. Is a block from a lot of city/county activity and 3 blocks from the Westchester Mall. Cheap eats are steps away. A few good restaurants walking distance.

This is really not a bad hotel, it’s just a bit dated and everything within the property added up to be pricy. Room was 246, add tax, incidentals, traveled with a small dog add 100, parking 25. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms were a little strange by orientation, with the bed I had a foot between the wall to get around it, stubbed my foot on the ac unit. Also bathroom was updated which was nice but I wish the whole room, furniture orientation etc. not a terrible place but I was expecting a more refined property.

The hotel and room were clean. However, there are 2 separate elevators: one to the lobby and one to the floors that need a room key. The morning I was leaving I went to the lobby to get a coffee to go, got on the elevator to go down to street level and a homeless guy who was in the lobby jumped on the elevator with me and the door closed. I was very scared, as he was yelling profanities and pacing back and forth! When the door opened I ran out to get away from him. Security or employees need to pay attention to what is going on in the lobby!!! I would not stay here again!
