"The cost for the rooms, dinner and drinks was very expensive for what it was. The bedroom I stayed in had a broken blind which let the light in, the bedside lamp was also broken, the Manager was grumpy, but two very nice waitresses. Otherwise not to be recommended at that price."

"Perfect location for local pubs, cafes and restaurants. Stockbridge generally and the 3 cups in particular have a relaxed vibe. Staff at 3 cups very friendly. Very good breakfast and restaurant….simple food but well done. The garden in summer is very tranquil"

"This is one of the worst places we ever stayed. We stayed there for a night. Room and bathroom are very dirty with full of dust. Poorly maintained. I cleaned spider web on the bathroom counter. Bathroom flush doesn't work properly. Water pressure is good but keeps switching between hot and cold. Makes it difficult to use. Towels are not good. Lint from towels sticked to body. Thin pillow per person were provided. They don't have an extra pillow. This hotel is not at all worth the price....

"Breakfast was excellent value, with a wide range of options. The spa facilities were good and there were plenty of late deals if you had not pre booked. Do make sure your room has a window. Ours over looked the spa, but we had no natural light and no fresh air."

"Small but clean rooms Elevator is available and parking is decent. Breakfast is available and OK. No AC in the rooms but can open the window slightly. Beds are not the most comfortable but manageable for a short stay."

"What a fabulous place to stay. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The pub and the outdoor areas are wonderful the food and drinks plentiful and delicious. We stayed in Bluebell room which had everything you could possibly need including toiletries water tea/coffee iron in fact all you need is your clean undies 😂 added bonus we sat and watched the world cup final outside with a great bunch of people from all over the world. Excellent place for visiting Downton Abbey (Highclere Castle) would...

"The room was fine. It was a little noisy in the early evening, as it overlooked the garden, but it was perfectly quiet later on. The bed was very comfortable. Staff were all very helpful and pleasant, but it felt that they were somehow lacking in leadership."
