"I checked in, they gave me a key for a room that was occupied. Embarrassing. then I got moved up to 3rd floor. Next morning the elevator is out and I have to lug my bags, purse, coffee thermos and sack of snacks down the stairs. I am alone and 74 years old. Not a great experience. "

"The bathroom soaps and shampoos wouldn’t come out the containers other than that is was fine "

"Everything was very clean some of the furniture was a little worn but it is a Historic Hotel it was not a problem. The bed was very nice bedding was clean and soft many pillows plenty of towels and linens amenities were excellent including bathroom supplies there was coffee maker and refrigerator. We had the luxury Suite which had a Corner Room View and was super spacious at a very reasonable price. We actually booked again for the candlelight Christmas tour in December. Not having anyone on staff was kind of unusual though it was a Monday. To check in check out or any other needs you had to phone a number posted. It was okay except when we checked out we ended up getting a main switchboard that handled restaurants and hotels. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it. Location could not be better for walking shopping eating bars."

"The room was a little dark. Other than that, it was a nice stay and close to the airport. "

"The rooms smelled really bad…the first room they gave me smelled like mold and I noticed it looked there had been water damage in the ceiling in the bathroom. I asked to change rooms and the clerk was very nice. The second room was slightly better but still did not smell good at all. The windows did not open so you can’t air out the rooms either. I have bad allergies so this is not great for me. "
