"A decent property with a great location and old-world charm, but one that comes with the trade-offs of staying in a heritage building. The complimentary breakfast and unlimited drinking water were a thoughtful touch and added good value to the stay. However, being on the 2nd floor meant we could hear every footstep from 3rd floor guests walking above — the thin floors and poor sound insulation make this a less-than-ideal choice for light sleepers. The property has limited space throughout, creaky floors, and the queen-size rooms are far too small for two people — I'd strongly recommend booking a king-size room, which is significantly more spacious. Overall, a solid stay if you appreciate character properties and can look past a few old-building quirks."
