"The double beds were comfortable pillows awful Had to change rooms for second night twin beds not large enough moved easily Pillows equally as awful . No walk in showers which make it difficult for people not able to use bath. Was told well if it’s only for one night did it matter and it was business people using hotel Room 111 opposite housekeeping i had to complain three times from 8am-10 for noisy chatter and Five staff were outside my door laughing and joking. "60代の夫婦で北Wales観光の際に利用したこのホテル。駐車場が広々としていて、利用しやすかったです。市街の中心部に立地していて、色々なお店に徒歩でも比較的簡単にアクセスできました。 シャワールームにはバスタブが設置されていたので、お湯をはってゆっくりと入浴を楽しめました。 2026年7月の宿泊だったので(Walesでも連日、例年よりも暑い日が続いていました)、部屋の中に小型の扇風機があれば、さらに快適に過ごせたと思います。 ホテルはビリヤード台やゲーム機を備えたバブと同じ建物なので、そこで時間を過ごすのも楽しいでしょう。"

"Super friendly welcome by the hosts. The room was large and comfortable and we really enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the horses. The pub in the village was about a 5 minute drive away and was fantastic."

"We had a lovely stay. Our room was perfect for us….lovely comfy bed and a small courtyard where we had dinner delivered! We were lucky that the weather was very warm too. Our dogs were very happy and calm and safe there . I would happily recommend this room (2) for anyone travelling with dogs. Thank you Wynnstay and staff, you made our trip really comfortable."

"The location of the property is fantastic. The biggest disappointment was we stayed over a very hot weekend and there was no installed air-conditioning therefore a Mobile Aircon unit was brought to the room but it didn’t work and the room was absolutely sweltering all weekend. We couldn’t sleep during the heat and it spoilt our stay."

"Good location, not far from all attractions. The car park on-site is convenience. The hotel provides a small breakfast but delicious. They also have complimentary coffee and tea which is very nice."

"We just spent one night in Chester to visit the rows which is a reputation of the city. The hotel itself a bit far from downtown which takes about 20 minutes by walk. The room is a bit small with no view. There is no an elevator and the stairs is quite narrow. Pros are good breakfast, free car parking, and big bed. "

"The Staff were very helpful including finding us a new room when the first was too noisy (David). Including a complimentary breakfast to make up for our inconvenience. Sadly the hotel has become dated needing refurbishment of bathrooms, plumbing and general modernisation within its historic and lovely interior. Very sad to hear of all the Staff being made redundant."

"The hotel staff are good especially reception and the gym but the spa which I was looking forward to it Wasn’t great You have to pay extra so my husband couldn’t use the facilities even though I had 3 treatments Which were not great the therapists are only just out of training yet they charge full price I must admit I was lucky with my facial which was excellent But the whole spa experience is not worth the money"
