Best Western Inn & Suites - Midway Airport

"It was one of the cleanest and most attractive hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. The price was reasonable at $199 (1 night), and it was close to Chicago Midway Airport (about 12 minutes with traffic). The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast was the best and most elegant I've seen at any hotel that offers breakfast (even better than the à la carte breakfast). The building was undergoing maintenance with some renovations in progress, but it was still clean, well-lit, and had excellent rooms. The staff was well-dressed and conducted themselves properly. The only "bad" thing I have to say about this hotel is that the iron didn't work. Air conditioning works properly, had a big TV in room."

"Staff was attentive and polite. The building was being worked on (roof) but we didn’t experience any noise or other issues related to that. Definitely an older hotel with some deterioration but the beds were comfy and the shower was clean. Mini fridge and microwave worked great. Didn’t hear noise from other residents and no issues with parking."

"The room was pretty clean. You could tell someone was trying. The bed was clean & comfortable. It was well lit. The bathroom was clean and they did provide soap & shampoo. The TV did not work. I checked all the connections. That’s where I found some dirt and trash. Breakfast was coffee and was good. They even had creamer in the little cups, not powdered. Breakfast was a mushy Hostess blueberry pastry. No other choices. They gave me a hair dryer when I asked for one. The guy who checked me in the night I arrived was still on duty when I left around 1 pm the next day. He looked exhausted. I was just happy to find a room. There were no available hotels closer to the airport. Lots of cancelled flights full of people."
