"We just spent one night in Chester to visit the rows which is a reputation of the city. The hotel itself a bit far from downtown which takes about 20 minutes by walk. The room is a bit small with no view. There is no an elevator and the stairs is quite narrow. Pros are good breakfast, free car parking, and big bed. "

"The hotel is spotlessly clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and most helpful, particularly when I became unwell in the dining room. We especially appreciated the kindness of the young lady who was serving at the bar. We thoroughly highly recommend the hotel, and enjoyed its convenient position in the centre."

"We Usually stay in hotels, but decided to stay in a guest house this time. Got to say we were really impressed with Chester house. It was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, (in both here and their sister property, Chester court hotel, next door), and the included breakfasts were excellent. In addition, it was great to have ample free parking on site The location is also very convenient for Chester city centre and also to nearby Hoole village,...

"A great one-night stay in a nice hotel, directly over the road to the train station and a 10minute walk into the lovely city centre. We received a warm welcome on arrival and a cheery check-out . the hotel is in good condition with a great little drinking garden. well impressed with both the hotel and city and will return again for a break when it becomes warmer.
