"It's a good place to stay in Chester, especially if you want to visit the zoo, it's about 10 minutes in the car, if you want to walk to the city centre it's only 25 minutes, so it's easy for that too"

"What a fabulous stay. Downtown Chester with parking; the location is excellent - less than 5 minutes walk to the Cathedral. The hotel itself is spotless with a really modern yet classical style. Amenities are good (eg premium coffee and tea - and biccies) and the bed was super comfortable. The heated and lit mirror in the bathroom is indicative of the attention to detail that makes a stay even nicer. In terms of staff, Tracy was really friendly and helpful. We've visited Chester probably half a...

"Ba Ba guest house Chester was a superb find. I stayed for 2 nights whilst doing the marathon. A very big single room, everyone provided & a very comfy bed. The breakfast was excellent. An easy walk to the city centre & a 30 minute walk to the race course. The owners were really friendly & helpful with car parking. I would definitely recommend this guest house if you want a quiet comfortable stay close to all amenities."

"Great location only a few minutes walk from centre. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Quiet rooms, good size with comfy bed. Wouldn’t recommend the off site parking that’s recommended by the hotel, very tight parking spaces. Would definitely recommend and would stay again."

"Friendly, welcoming hotel. Pets welcome. Dinner menu limited. Close to rail station."

"Good location, not far from all attractions. The car park on-site is convenience. The hotel provides a small breakfast but delicious. They also have complimentary coffee and tea which is very nice."

"We just spent one night in Chester to visit the rows which is a reputation of the city. The hotel itself a bit far from downtown which takes about 20 minutes by walk. The room is a bit small with no view. There is no an elevator and the stairs is quite narrow. Pros are good breakfast, free car parking, and big bed. "

"Excellent quirky hotel in a great location. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again."

"We loved the 2 rooms we had here - a lot of amenities were provided in a small space. Communication and instructions for the late check in were excellent. Beds were comfy and it was quiet at night. Great locations with lots of restaurants in the close vicinity."

"Check-in was terrible, they won't let us check-in because THEY cannot find a payment record from hotels.com It took quite a while and they did not even say sorry or compensate for how long it took even though it's their fault in the first place."

"The hotel was very clean food was good and staff were friendly and helpful"

"Really good location that was in the heart of downtown and a close walk to everything."

"Stunning breakfast & staff always on hand providing 5* hospitality service"

"We had a really nice 2 night stay, all of the staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was great and there were a few choices, we also ate there one evening and the food was delicious. The only downside was the bed was very low and not very comfortable for us but others might find it ok. There is also off road parking which is a bonus and it’s a 10/15 minute walk into Chester. Overall we were very happy with our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel."
