"We had a very good time at the Pointer would stay again. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was extremely spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful."

Everything was laid on and Helen was superb in anticipating everthing I needed. And the breakfast - well - no words to describe how great it was. Again the attention to the smallest detail was fantastic. Will certainly stay here again if I'm in the area. Well Done!"

"Clean room exactly as described, and the breakfast was great! A little disappointed that the pool was under refurbishment so we couldn’t use it (and we weren’t made aware beforehand) but it’s something to look forward to next time! Parking was a £7.50 for overnight which was fair, but would be a bit expensive if staying for multiple nights. Location was great for access to the centre - would recommend."

"There was a pool, sauna and steam room. I went with my 12 year old and there were times kids could use these facilities (and the seating area outside the pool), these were 9-10 and 2 hours (think it was 4-6pm). Under 16s not allowed in the heat rooms. Got towels given to us at the pool to use. Overall a great stay, nice food and kid friendly."

"The room was dirty and the furniture was very worn and tatty. I checked in at 9 pm and the hotel was clearly pretty empty. Breakfast was very small and expensive. My son went golfing in the morning, but despite this very rude front desk staff member kicked me out of my room at 11am wanting to 50 GBP to stay another couple of hours. There were silverfish bugs in the bathroom. If you are used to higher standards, avoid this hotel."

"Fantastic cosy room. Lovely shower , comfy bed. The check in is via phone and a key safe . The room was well stocked and very clean. Main problem is the doors to rooms don’t have quiet closing so when the ignorant other guests go in and out there is constant slamming of doors. We stayed in the room with exposed beams and it was very well thought out . Good for walking holiday due to location."
