The room was lovely and the staff were fantastic. Watch out if you arrive on a Monday or Tuesday evening as it's not open and check in is via a intercom. Food in the restaurant was amazing both at Breakfast and Dinner.
We enjoyed our stay at The Five Arrows in a lovely suite which was cosy and relaxing. The staff were friendly and attentive and the breakfast service was prompt and courteous.
Excellent from start to finish.
The room was very clean and felt comfortable, with a delightful view over the garden.
We had a couple of drinks in the bar which was nice and relaxing.
We later had dinner in the restaurant, with a nice selection of dishes and again a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere.
The breakfast was lovely, the wife had boiled eggs and soldiers, they were perfect with nice runny yokes. My full English breakfast was excellent with a perfectly cooked poached egg.
All the staff were friendly, helpful and professional, they really helped to make our stay a good one!!
We've just had a two night stay. We were made to feel very welcome. The staff are friendly, thoughtful and considerate. Sally was particularly helpful, putting us in a lovely quiet room in the coachhouse, thank you Sally! Also, thank you to Michelle, again very thoughtful in seating us in a quiet little corner of the restaurant for breakfast. The hotel is full of character and history, our room was very clean and comfortable, well done to Julie and the housekeeping staff! All in all a lovely place to stay with a genuine family atmosphere among the staff!
We have stayed and dined here several times. Always a lovely stay, good breakfast, beautiful building, Pretty room, great, friendly,, helpful staff.

Great place to stay when visiting Waddesdon
The hotel is well suited for visiting Waddesdon Manor. The room was very comfortable and clean. The meal we had was excellent and all the staff were friendly and attentive
Beautiful hotel. Lovely friendly staff and fantastic meals. We felt very welcome and nothing eas too much trouble. We were even reserved the best table in the restaurant.
A treasure of a hotel worth the cost. Very clean rooms with comfy bed and a bath with shower over. Restaurant food was delicious, well priced as well as breakfast which was ordered the night before and you could eat leisurely. Our room included entry to Waddesdon Manor which was a bonus. Car parking was easy. Staff pleasant.
Stayed for two nights. Friendly staff, restaurant very high quality. Our room was one of the suites which had plenty of room, enough seating and two tv’s.
Our room key gave us free access to Waddesdon Manor- which was spectacular.
Excellent location for visiting Waddesdon Manor, entrance is gratis for hotel guests.
Nice garden.
A few local pubs to choose from to eat at.
Decent breakfast.
Our room was small and stuffy
It's a lovely hotel, in a lovely village, with lovely staff. It's exactly what it is; nothing more, nothing less. Comfortable, enjoyable and most importantly we absolutely would stay there again.
