"Although it doesn’t look like much from outside, the hotel boasts a well-maintained interior. Set in a small town, it has its own secure parking (free of charge) and served as an ideal stopover for a family (2 adults and 2 children) on the way to the channel tunnel early the next morning. We didn’t need the breakfast so can’t comment, however the room was clean and comfortable. It could benefit from in-room kettle to make it that little bit more homely, but we have used the hotel twice now and would use again if we were travelling in France."

"The owner was on hand to greet us and showed us around the property. We were able to use the conservatory and garden, which was an added bonus. Breakfast was decent, with breads, cheeses, meats and yoghurts, plus fruit juice and hot drinks. The owner also offered to make us eggs if we wanted. Beds aren't huge but were comfy enough. Shower was decent. The property advertises having an "Electric car charging station on site". This isn't strictly true; it is just a standard french plug socket at the gate to the property; you will need your own charger. I asked the owner if I could charge my car overnight, which she said was fine but wanted 5euros to cover the cost of the electricity. I worked out that this was fair, as 12 hours at just 2kWh per hour would give around 24kWh of electricity. French default tariff is around 0.2euro per kWh. I explained I only needed about 30% charge, which was the 24kWh (I didn't have time to get more anyway). But in the morning I realised the owner had turned the power to the socket off overnight from 11pm to 7:30am, so I got less than half the charge I was expecting (and in fact needed to get home). So the owner should be more transparent about the fact that it's just a plug socket, and she should not turn it off overnight - if you intend using it, I suggest you confirm this with her in advance! She may not realise that all portable chargers will only give around 2kWh per hour, so they won't break the bank."

"We stayed for one night on our way back to Calais. We had a lovely junior suite which had a huge comfy bed and an additional seating area. Hotel was very well located for central Arras and a 10 minute walk to the Squares and its side streets. There was lots of local restaurants and bars in the area, as well as local shops. Unfortunately we stayed Saturday night so as is common in France, very little was open on the Sunday morning when we had time to look around. The hotel itself was lovely and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was very very hot, especially on the second floor, but they had provided a lovely big fan which was very welcome. On our arrival, there was only one staff member who seemed to be running the entire hotel- checking in new guests, organising parking for a group of bikers who arrived just after us, dealing with existing guests, answering the phone/gate, and serving at the bar. While he was lovely, helpful and cannot fault him or his professionalism, this meant that he was not able to give as much attention to existing guests. We had hoped for a drink in the bar, but he was dealing with so many things we felt we couldn't bother him. Lovely breakfast with a range of options from cold meats, pastries, cooked items, toast, and fruit (and they'd increased staffing for the morning!)."

"We were left needing overnight accommodation due to issues on the tunnel crossing, so we booked this hotel right at the last minute. There were four of us, and so having the ability to have us all in one room was ideal. Being a dog friendly hotel was also a huge bonus, being as we were travelling with our pets. We paid a very reasonable rate for a last-minute stay, including a fantastic breakfast the next morning. We were also travelling in a large 4x4 vehicle with a roof box, so we needed unrestricted height parking; another huge advantage to this property. If we needed another overnight stay somewhere not too far from the border, this would be my first option in the future."

"We stayed in the loft. It was ok. No aircon as far as we could tell, however it was quite cool on a very hot day (35+ deg c). Restaurant and breakfast is too expensive. It’s in the middle of nowhere, so not great for if you want to go do stuff in town. Staff were friendly and accommodating."
