"Stayed at the Fairmont Gold in Whistler recently. The room itself was very nice and comfortable, but unfortunately the overall Gold experience did not live up to expectations. The service felt below the standard I would expect from Fairmont Gold. While there is a lounge/buffet for Gold guests, it is quite limited and consists mostly of light snacks rather than a meaningful breakfast or food offering. "I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and I love the pool/ hot tubs/ and sauna , it is all so well maintained , the rooms are great . We go for a girls trip and it’s wonderful place to relax and plenty of great restaurants walking distance nearby. Staff so thoughtfully upgraded us from a studio to one bedroom which is such an appreciated gesture when not busy . Thank-you for a great stay :)"

It’s in a good location, annd easy to walk to most shops and restaurants. Our room had a queen size bed, and the mattress was absolutely terrible.
