The hotel is in a good neighbourhood, the service is great, and the room was fine. The only complaint is about bad pillows, which should have been replaced a while ago.

Really lovely staff and a very convenient location. Very responsive to my requests when needed. The bed was comfortable but the room itself seemed a bit tired and in need of some TLC. That asides it was a very lovely stay and the staff once again were wonderful.

Review of stay

My stay is good, the room is comfortable. The bathtub shower is far too high to get into for a 5 foot 2 lady. Will not be ideal for elderly occupants. Bathroom wall areas especially in the shower area needs demoulding or has to be redecorated. The room price per night is far too high compared to many 4 stars hotels I have stayed in Europe.

The facility is modern with very clean spacious rooms and friendly staff. The only issue is sound as the doors bang when closed.

Good.

The hotel is good in general. My only problem was the parking. I asked where to park, but the receptionist said that anywhere on the streets. But as it was a national holiday, all the streets were full. So we had to park 2 streets away. Even if the hotel has garage, we were not offered to use is, however, we would pay for it. For me it's not clear, if the hotel has garage.

Problems with the toilets in both rooms, one corrected itself , the other was faulty throughout the whole visit. The room was not as clean as expected, and there was a some dirty ladies knickers left inside the wardrobe .

Hotel is not ready for guests

Our room did not have a working television or refrigerator, even though when we booked these were included in the price. Given the heat of this time of the year the refrigerator was essential. The telephone to reception did not work, even though we were given the number to try. For the 'money' don't stay here until the hotel is established. We understand that this is a work in progress but the hotel should not be advertising what it does not offer at the prices it is charging right now. There were and are plenty of other good choices in Vienna for this price.

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage und durch die Bahnanbindung kommt man schnell zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten von Wien. Direkt an der Mariahilfer Einkaufsstraße gelegen, gelangt man auch zu Fuß problemlos in die Innenstadt mit Museumsquartier, Hofburg, etc. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders sollte das hervorragende Frühstück erwähnt werden, das in einem liebevoll-eingerichteten Raum eingenommen werden kann.

Hotellet OK, men jeg er ikke sikker på om det er 4 stjerner værd. Værelse ren, men desværre ikke badeværelse. Skimmelsvamp synlig i badekarrets hjørner samt på fliserne, afløbs dæksel ødelagt, tidligere brugerens lange hår ikke fjernet - simpelthen ulækker. Sidste opholds dag har rengøring taget gamle håndklæder, men ikke lagt nye på plads. Meget smal garage indkørsel - det lykkedes at køre ind i garagen uden skader, med udkørsel kostede mig en ridset bagskærm i venstre side. Morgenmad god - frisk brød, god kaffe, forskellige slags af pålæg, varme retter - alt som det skal være. Receptionister flinke og hjælpsomme - jeg fik problemer med aircondition og det blev fikset rimelig hurtigt. Der var ingen drikkevand på værelser, som jeg troede er en standard på et 4-stjerner hotel.

Décevant pour un Mercure

Chambre spacieuse mais a l'équipement qui date a besoin de rénovation salle de bains ancienne peu de pression eau baignoire datée clim en panne la dernière nuit avec 32 degrés dehors ! réceptionniste de nuit nous réveillé a 4h du matin et prétend que nous avons fumé dans la chambre et qui s'en va sans s'excuser après avoir quasi forcé notre porte pour vérifier dommage hôtel idéalement placé proche métro a 5mn petit déjeuner copieux et frais garage dispo quoique cher a 20euros par nuit et très très étroit

Das Personal ist super freundlich. Das Frühstück auch gut. Aber in den Zimmern hat der Teppich Risse. Und das Bad ist auch schon in die Jahre gekommen. Ich war vor zwei Monaten schon mal da und in dem Zimnmer in dem ich damals war, war es genau so. Aber nachdem ich im Zimmer ja eh nicht viel Zeit verbringe würde ich das Hotel trotzdem wieder wählen.

Die Lage des Hotels ist gut, man ist recht schnell am Westbahnhof, U-Bahn Margarete Gürtel und Mariahilfer Straße. Ich hatte zwei Zimmer gebucht. Die Bäder sind schon ordentlich in die Jahre gekommen. In einem Bad gab es mehre defekte Teile, wie z. B. lose Handtuch Stange an der Badewanne. Im selben Zimmer klebte ein alter Kaugummi auf dem Teppich. Der Frühstücksraum war fast immer eiskalt (unangenehm). Fürs Frühstück war eigentlich alles da. Jedoch waren an zwei Tagen die Eierspeisen kalt bzw. nur lauwarm. Und für das auffüllen der Gläser am Saftspender (wenn keine mehr da wären) fühlte sich auch nicht wirklich jemand verantwortlich. Schade

Die Zimmer sind an sich sehr schön. Aber man merkt auch gerade am Bad das es schon in die Jahre gekommen ist. Da sollte vielleicht mal was gemacht werden. Trotzdem würde ich immer wieder dort absteigen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Frühstück war gut. Alles da was man braucht.
