The train from Naples took us to the historic Salerno rail center and even with two rollable bags, the walk to The Holiday Guesthouse was an easy and mostly flat 12-minutes. "It was spacious. There was a strange sort of sewage smell in the room though but it comes and goes. Statf were really nice and helpful and sweet and room had plentiful amenities. It was really nice that there was a refillable water station at the property so you don’t have to constantly buy water."

"Very nice stay in the heart of Salerno. Everything you need, and walkable to all the major touristy areas and close to the train station and port area for ferry rides to Amalfi Coast. If driving, make sure to arrange parking with the owner ahead of time. It’s a very tough area to park"
