"Very impressed with all aspects of the hotel. The staff were amazing and friendly. The cafe and the Yu downstairs were a great amenity to have. Suggestion to put electrical adaptors on at least 4 the outlets throughout the rooms. We had international adaptors but we still needed the main one."

"I've stayed at the Lodge several times by now and they have a persistent issue with their key cards: essentially one neds to get the card recoded every day or two as they keep using very used cards that do not hold the key info on their magnetic strip long enough (a hotel like this should be able to afford new key cards and throw the worn out ones out). Othet than this: perfect location..."

"Wonderful luxurious stay at this 5-star property near Bo Kaap in central Cape Town. Delicious food especially at the top SA restaurant, Urchin. There was a mix up at check in but it was corrected by staff by the time I had finished dinner. Like all areas of Cape Town CBD, it may be uncomfortably with some people asking for money. Unfortunately there’s a wide economic disparity between the haves and have-nots."
