"The view of the mountains was spectacular. The staff was friendly and attentive, welcoming you from the moment you open the front door. They saw to our every need, the food in the restaurant was delicious and the grounds and rooms were immaculate. Fantastic stay, didn’t want to leave. "

"I chose the Grand Daddy for the convenience of location and it's overall heritage/funky vibe. As it was our first visit to Cape Town, we were unaware of how "lively" Long Street is! Unfortunately, there was also a party within the hotel on the night we had a 4:30 am flight. I assume this happens often as earplugs were left in the room. If you are interested in the party scene, this is the place to be. The staff was wonderful, the Hotel was very clean and our room itself was comfortable....
