I did like the location, close to places to eat and the underground.... but...
I guess they were still renovating. I have never stayed in such a small room that I had to move the luggage rack into the hall to be able to sit on the bed and move around. There was a step up almost 1 foot to get into the bathroom. The commode was so close to the wall that I had to sit sideways on it. I could not even stick my hand between it and the wall. The shower you had to step down 6 inches. It was terrible. I guess I should have asked for a handicap room....

Very modern and nice hotel. Super convenient location with walking distance to trains and public transportation.
The staff were so friendly and even prepared a gift for my special occasion. Will definitely come back next time.

St. Davids Hotel is in an unbeatable location close to Paddington Station, so a mercifully short ride from Heathrow after a long flight. and the staff are super helpful - Tina and Muezu made me feel welcome, with their kindness. I do recommend it warmly.

Rooms were super small. The towels were stained, and we would see no staff in sight. You would have to literally go all the way downstairs to talk to the people in the front but other than that there was no cleaners around. You couldn’t call anyone through like a service phone from the room, you had to go all the way down, but never saw a worker surround or cleaners in sight. It was not my best experience

"I stayed here for the Jane Austen festival and the staff were so helpful. I was traveling solo so they were kind enough to help me finish getting my dresses on. They were all so wonderful, the breakfast was tasty and it was a very lovely place to stay. I would not hesitate to stay there again."
