"Excellent location and beautiful property. Could use some updating. Had to switch rooms due to a dangerous bathroom situation and a large roach spotting. The hotel was accommodating, though. The seaweed situation was horrible but that is not the hotel’s fault. They were out there trying to clean it but the smell permeated everything."

The entire property was beautifully maintained, and it was clear the staff takes great pride in keeping everything in top condition. Even though the hotel was fully booked, it never felt crowded. "This place is NOT a resort by any stretch o the imagination! The pictures and online description are extremely and intentionally misleading. Breezy Palms is a run down motel with furniture that looks like it came straight from a landfill. It is also NOT on a beach as falsely stated online. There is a small roped off water area full of trash and ocean sludge. Some sand was trucked to create a “beach” area which is next to a boat dock that has zero water access due to the amount of sharks swimming...

"The check-in was easy and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, the location is great for our trip, the price per night is competitive, unfortunately there was no water pressure in the shower, and 1 of the fan/light fixtures did not have a functioning remote. We have enjoyed stays here in the past, and we hope the team can correct the issues as we would stay here again on future trips if they do so."

"We booked our stay at Creekside despite some negative reviews and I am so glad we did! The first day we were there we seen a manatee, a nurse shark, tarpon, parrot fish, and a ton of iguanas.
