"Ueno, Tokyo was the last stop of our Japan trip. Apa Hotel Ueno Eki Minami was a great hotel for it's modern design, and it was super clean and the staff we're extremely friendly. It's location was perfect, as the moment you walk out of the hotel, you are surrounded by an abundance of great restaurants and TONS of shops. It is also extremely close to the train station so it's convenient when you need to take the train and go far. The room was a bit small but was good enough for the two of us. Additionally, we stayed on the 12th floor, and with only 2 elevators, it could get crowded or be a bit of a long wait at times. However, it was still a great experience overall and I would definitely go back."

"Room was pretty clean, some of the staff spoke English, air conditioning worked perfect, great location near subway station and night life yet quiet at night. Hair dryer was getting hot during use and would barely blow air, noticed it was extremely clogged so I had to clean it with a toothbrush so air would flow out, only after that it worked perfectly. Area was awesome highly recommend. Lots of food and markets. Wish they had a scale to weigh bags like the other APA hotel in Osaka. "

"About a 15min walk from Ueno, the hotel was in a quiet neighbourhood, and walkable to a lot. Very close to Nezu station which made getting around easy. Happy hour, and the cafe were nice for getting something to eat or drink. Rooms were nice, clean and bright with a typical Tokyo hotel bathroom"
