"If you can overlook the rust/unfinished parts of the tub then this is a resort you must visit!!! I’m a solo traveler but found out the first night it was spring break, the staff which is amazing must of figured this out as well and spontaneously threw movie nights every night I was there. They really went the extra mile, no matter how small the guest. This place is purely magical at night I thought I was in Hawaii not San Diego. The pool was amazing there is a bar most of the pool hours for drinkers. The little nighttime campfires were very nice as well. The food around the area was a W all around, shelter island (very clearly a peninsula) and Humphreys is on my list to travel back to without a doubt!!!"

"Yes the AC was great parking is a bit tight but the staff will assist and it is very safe. The staff is just amazing. I will be staying here when ever I am in the area."

"Staff was incredibly welcoming, location was perfect for what we needed and we loved the convenience of the included breakfast However, the property was very outdated and not the cleanest. We had a cockroach in our room we had to kill and when my husband asked for more towels and a blanket no blankets were available. I also thought $10 for parking per night should have just been included in the price instead of an additional charge. We would most likely not stay here again."

"Breakfast and hot tub was the only decent thing about this hotel. At this property you get what you pay for. Older and outdated, needs some work. Smells like mildew in the rooms. Loud when planes are flying over. A/C is super loud and bangs when it comes on. Workers are kind. "
