"Very disappointing experience at the Sheraton San Diego Resort. I booked a Marina Tower room specifically for the view and location, but at check in I was placed in the Lanai Tower and told it was an “upgrade.” It absolutely was not. The room had no view and was far from where we parked. The staff discouraged me from switching rooms and told me the hotel was fully committed for the night, which made it seem like the Marina Tower rooms were oversold. After parking, we had to load our luggage onto a bell cart and drag it across the property while managing two kids, one of them a toddler. It took a long time to even find the building and room. They eventually moved us to another room, but our bill included extra charges that had to be corrected later, including an extra person fee and another room charge that should not have been there. While those were eventually removed, guests should not have to carefully review their bill to avoid being overcharged."

"This hotel did not tell us at check in but their AC was not working properly. The room was stale and did not have working AC or any moving aor and the room did not have an open window concept. The staff was unable to move rooms apparently. Unfortunately, the staff was unable to produce clean and dry towels when we asked on several occasions. We waited over 3 hours for clean and dry towels. Overall, this property did not meet any expectations for the price point. We were disappointed and the shortcomings far outweighed anything else (I.e. NO A/C or air flow in our room). Not a good experience at all. "
