"This is the second time that I have stayed at the Dragon Inn. Generally it has been good. The only dissapointing thing for me is that breakfast does not start until 8am, which for a work trip is getting a little too late. Also, the cooked breakfast is now an optional extra, whereas in 2024 it was included. The entrance to the car park is dreadful."

"We used the hotel as a base to tour Barry island and go to a concert in Cardiff. Staff were excellent and very helpful. It was the hottest week of the year so far and the inside rooms were roasting. Perfect spot to tour Barry and surrounding area, 5mins walk down hill from a Wetherspoons and centre. Hotel was good value for what we paid. Bar was open till 1am but quiet"

"The hotel is quiet with extensive areas for guests. The Leisure suite is excellent with sauna, steam room and a spacious, well equipped gym. Breakfast has lots of choice although the options have definitely been reduced since we were last there 6-8 years ago. Parking is plentiful and the views across the valley are beautiful.
