"The hotel was beautiful and spacious. When we were there we ate both dinner and breakfast outside which was lovely, again looking over extensive grounds (although oddly the second tier of the garden below the main level was not well maintained at all) However the feel of the place was a bit chaotic and we heard a number of guests complaining about things which should have been easily remedied (tvs not right, AC not entirely working and so on) We had a lovely dinner but one of our servers made...

"We really liked the convenience factor for the wedding we were attending in Eridge. The rooms (x3) were basic with a king bed ( a Superking would have fitted) , two old looking arm chairs ( from a care home?) a VERY modern glass desk and modern oak headboard. The paint colours on the walls were nice, but the carpet was a sort of light charcoal (sensible rather than pretty) and the huge Roman blind was a strong cream with two strips of dark brown either side. It was as if three different people...

"We just stayed the one night passing through and this was a very nice hotel. We booked in for Sunday Lunch and this was on of the best I have ever had in my life. The staff were very nice and high class, as was the venue. We only stayed one night but would like to stay longer next time."

"Quirky stay in Tunbridge Wells. The theme is fun and throughout the restaurant and hotel- decorations, staff uniforms, music and menu options. Lots of parking right outside. Food was lovely. The breakfast had unlimited coffee and juices and lots of options. The only downside was we went in the heatwave and the only thing available was a small desk fan so the heat was unbearable in the room so we slept really badly, could do with additional larger fans in the rooms"

"Had an absolutely lovely weekend stay at the Camden Arms. All staff were wonderful, very helpful. We ate there both evenings and enjoyed breakfast both mornings. Dinner portions are huge so much so I couldn’t eat all mine but the fajitas were absolutely delicious. The garden setting is tranquil and relaxing. The bedroom facilities catered for what we needed. "Th Leicester Inn is a very old listed property and as such has some wonderful aspects giving it great character. Being old and listed also means that modern features like double glazing and air conditioning are not present and we stayed on one of the hottest days of the year. Our room was very hot but a fan was provided and we were able to have an open window. There is a good size car park at the rear of the Inn. Food and service were superb."

This property is very old with lots of charming period features and is set in spacious, lovely grounds. If there had not been a drought, they would have looked absolutely wonderful.
