"Stayed for three nights over Xmas. The walk from the pub to the accommodation was across a muddy unpaved carpark. Access to the room was via a combination door lock and privacy in the room afforded by blinds at the door ,room windows. Unfortunately there was no internal lock on the door and gaps in the blinds afforded a view into the room from outside. The room was cold on arrival and took hours to warm up. "We were in one of the refurbished rooms which was vey clean, however there is obviously still some additions that are required in the main areas that look very drab and neglected. The heating in the bedroom was good but the en-suite bathroom had no heating at all and was so cold you didn't want to shower in there, the addition of some form of heating is needed here .A bin in the bathroom and some sort of shelf to put your own bits and pieces on would be useful.A mirror in the bedroom would be...

"We enjoyed our stay at Guestling Hall Hotel and were welcomed at the door by Chad, who was polite and courteous. The room was beautifully decorated and warm at all times. The breakfast was hot, as I like it,and very tasty and plentiful. If you wish to have fresh filtered coffee, just ask, at no extra cost. Chad's partner was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely come back and recommend this hotel to everyone. Thank you for a lovely and enjoyable stay. "

"Absolutely stunning property for those who like a bit of history. Host was so accommodating to our needs. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and we felt so relaxed making the most of the roll top bath. Breakfast was top drawer (loved the sausages especially). Nothing to fault. We’re already booked in for next year!"

"Meeting up with lots of my relatives was great. Yes, the room was clean, but the kettle was not working for my early morning cup of tea (I didn't use it the previous evening)! The staff were efficient, sympathetic and friendly, but were unable to get a replacement kettle to me. Also, when I booked, I did say that I needed a gluten-free diet but the biscuits in the room were not gluten-free!
