"Wonderful stay in Varzo! Lovely mother and daughter hosts. Delicious homemade breakfast and very comfortable room with a nice view. Right down the hill from San Domenico ski area with excellent scenic hiking. Would recommend Chalet Il Picchio to all!"

"I loved the lakefront location and room with a view. Both the train station and bus stop are very convenient, my only disappointment was that boat service is suspended until April of 2027."

"Fijne locatie."

"Séjour Parfait!! Petit déjeuner fabuleux. Grande gentillessse du personnel. Chambre très confortable et spacieuse. Face au lac et à min à pieds de la plage. Nous recommandons +++"

All the staff were charming and very helpful. We spent the night before at a hotel close to Milan airport, as we were arriving in the evening and worried about delays. Hotel Il Giardinetto arranged a car to come and pick us up...

"The Capra Saas-Fee is a beautiful 5-star hotel, but for us it simply didn’t live up to the hype, especially considering the price. The hotel itself is lovely, but the service didn’t feel particularly personalised or attentive. We even had to ask three times for our cable car passes. First, they had the wrong email address despite us providing it at check-in; then, even after correcting it, nothing came through. We ultimately had to insist on having the passes printed so we could actually use...

"The staff ia friendly and helpful"

"My friend and I stayed for five nights at Hotel Flora and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is situated outside the central part of Stresa, and is a lovely 15-20 minute walk into town along the lake promenade, and is close to both the train station and a nearby bus stop, making it a convenient location to have as your base for travelling around the area. The breakfast provided each morning has a wide variety of options to accommodate various dietary requirements and was a great way to...
