"The location is ideal, being a short walk down to the beach and close to bus stops for easy transportation. The hotel is a little dated in terms of interior decor and layout, but very clean, and the staff are friendly. A group of us booked rooms separately and noticed the amenities varied between rooms: some had a bath, some had a fridge, some had a fan (there is no A/C), and some had a hairdryer. "The hotel was perhaps not the best choice for 80 year olds with some issues as the entrance to it is rather steep ! However, since we were meeting relatives of varying ages there, and the taxi service in Jersey is excellent, this problem didn’t detract from our enjoyment.. "Fantastic breakfast, with a good selection. Comfortable and clean bedrooms. Was lovely to have the bathrobes which were of a very good quality. It does not appear any twin gold rooms have a view so bear this in mind if that is important to you. Spa was very nice although the jacuzzi was only warm. The heated beds in the relaxation room were nice and the steam and sauna good heat. We chose to eat in the hotel in the evening and the food was very good."

"Room was dated, but very tidy and clean, pool facilities were okay, but in need of refurbishment. The sauna was out of order and the mini gym lacked a treadmill. We stayed in a family room, it could have done with more towel rails in the bathroom and a drying rack for when the weather is less agreeable. Otherwise, the staff were amazing and made our stay memorable and fantastic. The plentiful parking was a massive bonus, as was the included breakfast."
