"Staff were lovely ,hotel spotless and breakfast was lovely"

"Whilst it’s not in St Helier Town, the hotel has a minibus facility which runs from the hotel to the Town centre. Car hire customers will have no problem accessing free parking outside the hotel entrance. Rooms are a bit dated but scrupulously clean and the shower is clean and towels plentiful and regularly (daily) changed. "The views are excellent and our room an executive double was good but very tired and in need of decoration.. Majority of staff were helpful but service was generally slow. Drinks at the bar were very expensive and bar staff less than helpful. Breakfast was adequate but service although polite and engaging was very slow. The fridge in the room was regularly stocked with water and fresh milk which was lovely in our morning tea."

"Fantastic breakfast, with a good selection. Comfortable and clean bedrooms. Was lovely to have the bathrobes which were of a very good quality. It does not appear any twin gold rooms have a view so bear this in mind if that is important to you. Spa was very nice although the jacuzzi was only warm. The heated beds in the relaxation room were nice and the steam and sauna good heat. We chose to eat in the hotel in the evening and the food was very good."

Close to St Helier & bus routes. Wonderful outlook over the beach. When we next have a holiday in Jersey, we will happily book De L'Etang again."

"Loved proximity to beach. Unfortunate that construction impeded the view from the dining room and there was no terrace to sit on. Front desk staff and housekeeping staff very helpful. Only criticism was the breakfast buffet being the same every day and not very warm. overall a decent hotel and would go back there."
