"Fantastic place to stay next door to the Sissinghurst Castle Gardens. Friendly and beautiful. We will definitely return"

"The property was in a fairytale house in a magical location. All the little extra touches - such as bathrobes and slippers. daily complimentary water, chocolate etc - were truly the icing on the cake. The staff showed a real pride in working at the Castle and truly helped to set the atmosphere. Check-in and out were brilliant. The restaurant was superb with a jaw-dropping view of the Castle and sumptuous breakfast. If you think I seem enthusiastic it is because I am!"

"Lindsay was a really nice host, we could have what we wanted for breakfast, there was tea, coffee sugar and milk in the room. Our room was very spacious and bathroom was very large and well layed out, our room looked out on to the garden which was nice."

"Lovely place to stay, basically a guest room in a shared house though. Quiet hours meant no late showers which was hard when our days were planned ahead of time. Host was sweet and the room was nice, just felt like a lot of rules that would’ve been helpful ahead of time. The small town is so fun, loved walking around the stores and trying all the local restaurants - they close early so plan for that!"

"Advertised as an apartment with breakfast included. But in reality is a chalet bedroom and ensuite. Breakfast was 2 mini yogurts in the fridge, a couple of tiny croissants and cereals. Beverages are DIY. Check in is via a member of staff behind the bar in the pub. Unresponsive to phone calls with the number provided prior to the stay where I attempted to know if there was possibility of an earlier check-in but since not being able to get through I had to check-in at the standard 3pm. "Nice and private"

"Both our showers were filthy with grime, they both didn’t work. My shower had to be replaced completely. It looked like a mouse or a rats nest in bottom draw. The drawer handles were filled with dust and dirt. I mentioned it twice but they didn’t clean it. The station where the milk and coffee is, was empty. The kettle in. Number one room was filled with black bits and calcium build up. Also the hot water in the same room was too difficult to work. We booked the hotel because the advertising...

"I enjoyed my stay but was disappointed with the limited choice at breakfast. Only cooked breakfast which I don't eat and no cereals, porridge or fruit etc."

"Don’t use this accommodation! As we arrived at 6 pm the place was closed! Nobody took the phone and we had to look for another place to stay. Not good!"

"Very clean and nice place, in an excellent location! It is very close to Gatwick Airport with a bus stop (#100) right across the road that goes directly to both South and North terminals. It's also just an 8-minute walk to the train station, where a ticket to the South terminal costs less than $2. You can even walk directly to your terminal from here. The rest of my stay was very satisfactory, but I am deducting a star because of the breakfast communication. I had already paid for breakfast...
