"Fabulous location within easy walking distance of the key shops, restaurants, and cathedral, parks etc. Amazing property which is well equipped too. Only downside for us was some minor dirty bits that had been missed off on the cleaning schedule, and the welcome pack needs updating e.g. WiFi was different, and this didn;t include instructions/code for the bin stores (that was on the back of the front door). Knocked 1 star off service not because there was anything wrong but just seems odd to say it was excellent when my only interaction consisted if being issued with a key. Staff were polite and friendly for this short interaction "

"Absolutely fabulous accommodations! The hotel has olde world charm with the modern amenities you'd expect. If you're visiting Stonehenge, the location is ideal- we were in the car park not fifteen minutes after leaving the hotel. The onsite manager was Abi and she literally did it all- reception, server, bartender and always with a smile!"

"If you are looking for an elegant, historic, clean yet simple stay then this is the hotel for you in Winchester. The old building is beautiful inside and out. The staff are very friendly and also very helpful. This was the first time we were travelling with our 4 month old baby and the staff were very accommodating (all staff were but the name Lynn is the one I remember) and helped us store our pram safely without havingto carry it up the stairs several times per day. Great hotel all round, well done and will 100% stay again."

"If you’re looking for a lovely spot in the heart of the New Forest, this is definitely one to try. Although it’s located on the A36, once you’re inside the property the road noise disappears completely. We stayed in the Nomansland Suite, which was perfect for our four-day stay. It included a comfortable double bed, bathroom, fridge, and kettle, and the room was cleaned daily. The host who greeted us was very friendly and suggested lots of great things to do nearby, which was really helpful. There’s plenty to do in the area, whether it’s a walk to the local pub or a short trip to the beach. The views are beautiful and really add to the experience. Highly recommend this place for a short getaway."
