"Hotel looked great online and like a 1970s holiday camp when we arrived with metal staircases and chalet rooms We also had a lovely guest decide to smash the room up under us and threaten everyone police called not 1 member of staff checking anyone was ok Breakfast was awful all in all never to be repeated again"

"Halifax Hall is an VERY unusual place, which left me feeling rather like a uni student all over again, at 64!! A historic facade quickly gives way to a very modern ‘conference-based’ building, totally with a higher ed student-campus feel (student accommodation is adjacent!). The room was small, but beautiful, with an amazing shower👍 The staff were remarkably friendly & helpful. The breakfast was sensational! Here’s to being 18 again & back to uni days😀"

"The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and in a fab location very central to Holmfirth. We were a little worried that it would be a little too noisy with it being above a pub, which would have been our own fault for booking a room over a pub! "The Kiln Hotel in Wakefield has the look and feel of a run down American Motel that has been abandoned several decades ago. Desperately in need of refurbishment it appears that the new owners have not made any improvements since taking over from Campanile Hotels. "Family room - the room, beds and shower room all clean. Plenty of pillows with the option of firm and soft, duvet is a little small for the bed and the one on the sofa bed was also too small if 2 sharing, so you may need to request extra ones. Aircon is fab for the summer kept the room lovely and cool. Sofa bed is a tight squeeze for 2 children but bed has plenty room for 2 adults.
