"A really stunning place. We had a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the sea. We had intended to visit other areas but ended up staying in the grounds of the hotel/ club as they are so good - two beautiful pools and a lovely beach. The cafe by the lower pool serves a great choice of food at lunchtime and we had really good food in the main restaurant overlooking the top pool in the evenings. The breakfast was also really good."

While it is a historic French property operated by an American company, it seems to offer neither the refinement and attention to detail expected of a premier French hotel nor the efficiency and customer-focused service associated with a well-managed American hotel. "The location of the hotel was great. Close to many good restaurants, shopping, train and beach. All of the staff were great especially the very helpful Esmeralda at the front desk. The hotel was quiet at night and while the pool is small, the surrounding seating areas are lovely. The breakfast is a bit underwhelming but everything else was very nice."

"I usually don’t make reviews, but I must for this. The reviews and ratings on Expedia were generous at best. When we first arrived and entered our room, the bathroom was riddled with mold and stains, specifically near the shower and the toilet. The hotel staff were accommodating and provide us a new room, but that room also had the same issues. We ended up leaving, and booking a new hotel that same night because we just didn’t feel like the property was not well-maintained and cleanly."

"An incredible experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. They upgraded us to a balcony room with a beautiful view of the water. The beds were also very comfy and AC was strong. I could not have had a better experience! Only complaint, 20 euros each to use the pool is a bit extreme, especially for a nice hotel like that, you’d expect it to be free."

"Excellent hotel in a high demand area. Was very impressed with the hotel’s standards, cleanliness, amenities and modernisation. The location is brilliant and is in short walking distance to most of Cannes hottest spots, as well as the train station. The staff were very helpful and friendly, at both reception and the cleaning staff. Not a bad word to say about our stay and would love to stay again on our next visit. "Clean room. Great staff. Very friendly. Very good proximity to the beach and restaurant is excellent. Main downside is room is very small. However it did the job. Bed and pillows were comfy. Think you can choose a bigger room. Would pay the extra for that."
