"I'm not sure if we were put in this room because we booked third party, but we were putting one of their their oldest, badly in need of renovation rooms. The carpet was mismatched, the wallpaper was peeling, the ceiling in the bathroom was peeling, there was no air conditioning available on a warm day, and the room had a musty smell like the exhaust fan in the bathroom hadn't been working. In hindsight, we should have immediately asked for a different room.
I spoke with the front desk as I was checking out, and told them they shouldn't be renting that room out to anyone especially for the prices they charge. She mentioned that they were planning to renovate the rooms, but how does that help me. They did refund two nights of their resort or service fees. If you're going to reserve a room here, make sure you're getting one of the renovated rooms because that's what they show at the top of their Expedia photo montage. You have to scroll pretty far down before you see the old style rooms. Those rooms don't even look that bad in the photo but the one we put in was just falling apart."
