"Room was clean. Checked in about 6:00 pm and staff was one person with ok personalty. Checked out in the morning and staff was great, friendly and cherry. Rooms are OK, dated, more like I would have expected if it was a college weekend in the 1970s. Still verry clean."

"Being unfamiliar with the Pismo Beach area, I picked the wrong place for what I wanted to experience there. I was looking for easy beach access, this hotel was on a bluff, I had wanted to hear waves crashing and instead I heard the highway traffic. I didn't see any close places for breakfast in the morning and we we were told that the restaurant at Spyglass was closed. Therefore we didn't spend much time at our almost $500 room, we went downtown and ate, shopped, and walked the beach. That's where I will book a room next time."

"Hotel needed upgrades. Room clean, however, outdated. Bathroom requires work. TV out for the night but front desk said it was being worked on. Had picture for ten minutes. If management invested money into the rooms would be nice place to stay. Breakfast on upper deck was good but limited choices. Location was good. I think they're on the right track for decorating but seriously needs work"
